Privacy policy
This policy covers the Haard website and waitlist. Research participants receive separate privacy information.
Who we are
Solvra BV is responsible for processing your data at Haard. Send questions or requests to privacy@haard.app.
Your data and why we use it
- With your consent, we use your email address, language and any interest you select to send relevant launch updates. Your email is needed to join the waitlist; sharing an interest is optional.
- On the server, we count page requests, waitlist signups and unsubscribes without tracking your browsing or linking visits together. This serves our legitimate interest in understanding demand and improving the website.
- We process technical data, including your IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. This serves our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service and preventing abuse.
Questionnaires and interviews have separate privacy information. You receive it before taking part.
Cookies and session recordings
A functional cookie remembers your language for 30 days. We do not use it for analytics.
Only with your consent, we analyse website use and performance, recognise return visits and make masked session recordings to improve the website. This includes pages, interactions, campaign information and technical errors. Form inputs and the signup area are masked. New signups and answers in these analytics are not linked to your email address.
Allow, refuse or withdraw through “Cookies”. Analytics cookies last up to 180 days. Local analytics storage and your preference remain until cleared or changed; withdrawal removes analytics storage. You can also clear browser storage yourself.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until launch. Unsubscribing stops waitlist emails; you can also request deletion. We may keep a record that you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again.
We retain visit-level and feedback analytics only for ongoing comparisons of website use, interest, campaigns and website versions. We regularly review this need and delete or anonymise the data when those comparisons end or anonymous results suffice. Earlier email-linked statistics keep their existing deadline: launch or 24 months after signup, whichever comes first. Session recordings are kept for up to 30 days.
We keep security data for the investigation and resolution of incidents or abuse. Genuinely anonymous results may be kept without a fixed expiry.
Who processes your data
We use technology service providers for hosting, security, email and analytics. They receive the data needed for their services. Our analytics provider is based in the United States and stores analytics in the European Union. Processing outside the European Economic Area is covered by an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact privacy@haard.app for recipient details and a copy of the safeguards. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and, where applicable, portability of your data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Email privacy@haard.app.
You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date above marks the last substantive change.
